In 2010, the ET110 walking excavator caused an industry sensation in the Bauma Show and won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress. Later XCMG undertook the “Walking Compound Multi-functional Disaster Relief Equipment” Project of National 863 Program and passed technical acceptance. XCMG has been increasing R&D input and put the globally advanced walking hydraulic excavators such as ET110, ET111 and ET80 into operation through nearly 10 years of development and refinement, and gained more than 30 patents of invention.

The product successfully challenged on the stage of Impossible Challenge held by CCTV in 2016 to climb the 4-meter high platform, which became famous for China’s smart manufacturing on world stage.
