The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and China State Council commended outstanding contributors to reform and opening up. In the afternoon of December 18, provincial committee and government of Jiangsu province held a symposium in Nanjing to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. In the symposium, the decision of the provincial committee and government to award the title of “Advanced Collective and Individuals Who Made Outstanding Contributions to the Reform and Opening up of Jiangsu” was read out. Wang Min, chairman of and secretary of CPC of XCMG, was awarded the title of “Advanced Individual Who Made Outstanding Contributions to Jiangsu’s Reform and Opening Up”.

At the age of 18, Wang Min started to work in XCMG.

Over the past 46 years, he has grown from an apprentice to the head of XCMG.

This year, 700-ton mining excavators – “First excavator in China” were successfully launched, 50,000 truck cranes, 4000 large-tonnage loaders, and 100,000 rollers left the assembly line, 4000-tonnage crawler cranes – “World’s top crane” completed nearly 100 times of hoisting, new electric cabinets, high-end hydraulic valves, and intelligent control systems were equipped in batches instead of imported products…In the first 10 months in 2018, XCMG realized the business income of RMB 91.9 billion, of which the main business income increased by 47.7% year-on-year and the total export value reached USD 1.1 billion with a year-on-year rate of 41%. All indicators attained historic peak levels.

On December 9, XCMG “Super Mobile Crane Innovation Project” won the Chinese Industrial Award. This is the second time that XCMG won this honor…
