XCMG on Behalf of Chinese Construction Machinery Industry Participated ESTA Awards Ceremony for the First Time

On April 14, 2016, at Munich local time 18:00, ESTA annual awards ceremony held in Munich. Mr. Liu Jiansen, assistant president of XCMG and general manager of XCMG Import & Export Co. Ltd., was invited to attend the award ceremony and XCMG was the only Chinese enterprise invited.

ESTA Awards, full name as the “European Association of Heavy Haulage Transportat and Mobile Cranes”, was founded in 1967 and currently has more than 60 high-end members from 18 countries, including the international construction machinery brands such as Liebherr, Terex, Manitowoc and XCMG. ESTA Awards only accepts European enterprises in principle, but in 2016, XCMG has been exceptionally allowed to join the association, which is the only Chinese enterprise allowed to join the association.

ESTA Awards is committed to establish and improve the technical standards and business rules for crane and special transportation industry in the entire Europe. As one of European associations with most powerful industry influence, ESTA Awards holds the annual meeting each year to call industry elites and makers of rules and policies discussing the optimization of industry standards.

In addition, ESTA Awards holds annual awards ceremony to select the following awards of the year, such as best technology, products, construction case and outstanding contribution. Every year ESTA awards dinner party will gather international engineering machinery manufacturers and senior engineering and contractors to attend and it is the biggest and highest-end communication platform for construction machinery industry.
