“Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway”is an important achievement of high-quality cooperation between China and Cambodia under the Belt and Road Initiative.
With total investment exceeding USD 2 billion,this project,once completed,will greatly shorten the distance from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville,effectively lowering the logistics cost and driving the economic and social development along the line.
A year ago,XCMG,with its complete construction machinery solutions and all-round guarantee for overseas services,fully supported and cooperated with China Road&Bridge Corporation(CRBC)in the construction of Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway.XCMG’s excavator has become the first equipment put in this construction.
The terrain along the expressway project is complex,with plains in the middle and south,and most areas in the east,north and west are covered by forests.Affected by the landform and monsoon,rainfall in the project area varies greatly.
