Key Components of the Pump
Pump Assembly Components
The Gear Pump (GEAR PUMP) is responsible for the initial fluid transfer and pressurization. It works by the meshing of gears to move the fluid within the system.
The Piston Assembly (PISTON ASSYMBLY) consists of multiple pistons (PISTON) that are vital for generating high – pressure fluid flow. Each piston works in coordination within the cylinder block (CYLINDER). The Right Cylinder Assembly (RIGHT CYLINDER ASSYMBLY) and Left Cylinder Assembly (LEFT CYLINDER ASSYMBLY) are symmetrically arranged to balance the operation of the pump.
Control and Regulation Components
The Swerve Disk Assembly, also known as the Incline Plate (SWERVE DISK ASSY INCLINE PLATE), is used to control the flow and pressure of the fluid. It can be adjusted to change the displacement of the pump.
The Check Valve is essential for preventing back – flow of the fluid, ensuring that the fluid moves in the correct direction within the pump system.
The Electromagnetic Proportional Pressure Reduction Valve and Reducing Valve are used to regulate the pressure of the fluid according to the system requirements.
Shaft and Bearing Components
The Left Drive Shaft (LEFT SHAFT) and Right Shaft (RIGHT SHAFT) are responsible for transmitting power to different parts of the pump. They are supported by various bearings.
The Cylindrical Roller Bearing (ROLLER BEARING), Needle Bearing (NEEDLE BEARING), and Spacer Bearing (SPACE BEARING) reduce friction and support the rotation of the shafts and other moving parts, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
Piston – related Components
Each piston is accompanied by a Slide Shoe (SHOE) which slides on the Plate (PLATE). The Sliding Ball and Return Spring (SPRING) help in the proper movement and return of the piston within the cylinder.
The Slide Shoe Plate (SHOE PLATE) provides a stable surface for the slide shoes to move on. The Swerve Plate (INCLINE PLATE) and Adjusting Slide (ADJUSTING SHOE) work together to control the movement of the pistons, and the Swerve Support Plate (INCLINE SUPPORT PLATE) provides support for the swerve plate.
Housing and Sealing Components
The Left Pump Housing (LEFT PUMP CASE) and Right Pump Case enclose the internal components of the pump, protecting them from external damage.
The Left Seal (LEFT SEAL), Valve Right Seal (VALVE RIGHT COVER), and Valve Left Seal (VALVE LEFT COVER) prevent fluid leakage from the pump. The Cover (COVER) further protects the internal parts and can be removed for maintenance.
Fastening and Plug Components
Multiple Hexagon socket head cap screws (BOLT) are used to fasten different parts of the pump together, ensuring the structural integrity.
Plugs (PLUG) are used to seal various ports in the pump, preventing fluid leakage and protecting the internal components from dirt and debris.
Servo and Feedback Components
The Servo Plunger Assembly (SERVO PISTON) is used for precise control of the pump’s operation. The Adjusting Plunger Pins (ADJUSTING PIN) and Servo Plunger Piston (SERVO) work in conjunction with the servo system.
The Sleeve (SLEEVE) provides support and guidance for the moving parts in the servo system. The Servo Cover, Seat, and Plug are used to protect and enclose the servo components.
The Steel Ball and Feedback Pin (PIN, FEED BACK) are part of the feedback mechanism that helps the pump adjust its operation according to the system requirements.
Sealing and Retaining Components
There are multiple O – Rings, Square Rings, and Oil Seals (SEAL) used throughout the pump to prevent fluid leakage at various joints and connections.
Retaining Rings (BACK – UP RING) are used to secure different components in place, preventing them from moving or falling out during operation.

Nuts (NUT), Hex Nuts (HEX NUT BLOT), and Bolts (BLOT) are used for general fastening purposes.

Pins (PIN) are used for alignment and connection of different parts. The Lifting Lug is used for easy handling and installation of the pump.

The Headlock Locating Bolt (ANCHOR BLOT) and Nameplate (PLATE, NAME; PLATE) provide identification and stability for the pump.
